I have worked at both ends of the scale. In government, where decisions about security, resilience and risk can have very significant consequences at a national and international level, and alongside growing organisations that simply need things done properly.
My experience includes security governance and leadership in Westminster, work around critical national infrastructure, and leading explosives safety and risk management across Defence estates.
I bring that experience into every assignment, but not the bureaucracy that can come with it. My aim is always to provide proportionate, practical work that people can understand, use and sustain.

I don't start with a template. I start by understanding what you already do, what the standard requires and what will genuinely help the business. Processes are documented and repeatable, with named owners, so the way of working outlasts the engagement.

Implementation support and capability transfer, so you are comfortable owning the system once my work is finished. If it only works while I am there, I have not done the job properly.

My background spans management systems, safety, security, risk, quality and governance, across Government, Defence and growing businesses, including periods holding delegated authority in Government.
Clients bring me in when compliance has become tangled with structural change, growth or regulatory pressure. I work alongside leadership teams, supported by a trusted network of specialists, until the organisation can run the system itself.
The measure of success is simple: the system is still working long after I have gone.
